Lovely vintage teak ottoman, designed and manufactured by Avalon. The unit sits on castors, meaning that it moved about easily. 
Perfect for all of your storage needs, the chest would work work well as a vinyl storage unit, a place to keep toys or just generally somewhere to hide clutter.
It is in good, original vintage condition. It does have a few scratches on one side and a light scratch on the top which I have pictured.
