A rare opportunity to buy an early Ercol sideboard, manufactured in small numbers in the 1950s.

Made from solid elm and beech, the sideboard is a lovely example of Ercol's transition into the Windsor range which became extremely popular in the 1960s and beyond.

Set on sculpted tapered legs, with utility style panelling on the sides and door fronts. The sideboard has four drawers, the two top drawers are lined and contain cutlery divides.

The top has a lovely grain, it also has a groove running across the back of the sideboard, ideal for displaying pictures.

Fantastic quality and craftsmanship as expected with Ercol.

The original 'This is an Ercol Production' sticker is intact, this was later changed to 'Ercol, Made in England' which demonstrates how early and rare this model is.

The sideboard has been fully restored and is therefore in fantastic condition with only a few minor signs of wear. Various layers of hard wax oil have been applied, returning the sideboard to its original beauty.

Collection from Cullercoats, Tyne and Wear. We deliver across the North East for a reasonable fee.
