Absolutely amazing 1950s/1960s bedside clock and lamp on a teak base by Metamec. In full working order, the light can be switched on and off via a switch on the back. The clock  has an alarm facility which, when sounding also triggers the light to flash on and off (surely rousing even the heaviest of sleepers!)The clock lamp is powered by the mains (with a wire and plug).Collection from South Shields, Tyne and Wear.
