Incredible vintage mid century Danish vanity chest, designed by Peter Hvidt in the 1960s.
With an absolute gorgeous continuous teak grain running down the front of the unit, distinctively Danish style handles and a very special surprise inside!
The top lifts and top 'drawer front' folds down to reveal a light up vanity cabinet! Complete with rosewood covered drawer, mirror and formica topped surface.
This is a really sensational piece, unlike anything we have seen before.
This piece has been fully restored, and is therefore in great condition with only minor signs of wear. The black formica inside has a few marks however this does not detract from its beauty.
The unit has two magnets which hold the drop down flap up when closed as the key is no longer operational.
